Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait -ABK

The Bank was originally established in Egypt in 1978 under the name of Alexandria Kuwait International Bank (AKIB). AKIB became a leading private bank in Egypt, and afterwards it morphed into Egyptian Commercial Bank. In 2005, Piraeus Bank Group took hold of Egyptian Commercial Bank and renamed it as Piraeus Bank Egypt. Al Ahli Bank (ABK) currently provides integrated and diversified banking services to the individual and corporate sector across all markets in Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and Egypt.
