Overview
Al Mu’allaqa Church (The Hanging Church) Open: (Closed during mass) Built on top of the bastions of a Roman gate, hence the term ‘hanging’, the church is entered by a set of stairs from the large courtyard. The church is dedicated to the Patron Saint of Egypt, St. George. Souvenirs can be bought from stalls in the courtyard.
