Overview
Founded in 1160 by the vizier Tala'i ibn Ruzzik in the late Fatimid era, the Al-Salih Tala'i Mosque is the last major Fatimid monument to be founded and still survive. The mosque is located outside the southern entrance to Cairo 's old walled city, in Bab Zuweila.
