Philae’s ruins include the columned Temple of Isis, dating to the 4th century B.C. the colorful Nubian villages run down to the water and give a fabulous view. the city is perfect to linger for a few days and recover from the rigors of the city, back to nature, and know the history of ancient Egypt.
