Overview
Beit Al Umma, called in English the House of the People, was the residence of the 1919 Revolution's leader Saad Zaghloul. He was also the founder of the Wafd Party. Visitors will encounter in the entrance a bronze statue of the historical figure. It comprises a dining room, reception rooms, living room, baths, that show the Art Nouveau, Louis XV, Arab, and Turkish styles, respectively. On the wall, there are many portraits and photographs that depict the modern nationalist leader, his wife Safia Zaghloul, and other leaders.
