Overview
Abdallah Ezzat has a master's degree in general surgery at Cairo University. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in England, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and the Swedish Society of Physicians. General surgery is a surgical field that deals with abdominal contents including esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, appendix and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland. It is also concerned with diseases involving the skin, breast, soft tissue, trauma, Peripheral artery disease, and hernias. General surgeons are also trained to conduct gastroscopy and colonoscopy surgeries. General surgeons may sub-specialize into one or more of the following specialties: Laparoscopic surgery, Trauma surgery, Colorectal surgery, Breast surgery, Vascular surgery, Endocrine surgery, Transplant surgery, Surgical oncology, Cardiothoracic surgery, and Pediatric surgery.
