Overview
Ahmed Emam is a consultant in Urology and Andrology. He is a lecturer of Urology at the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University. He completed the United States Medical Licensing Exams (USMLE) and obtained the clinical fellowship of urologic oncology (including endourology, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeries) at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Centre, in New York. Urologists diagnose and treat diseases of the urinary tract in both men and women. This includes kidney cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, penile cancer, ureteral and pelvic cancer, retroperitoneal and pelvic cavity sarcomas, Wilms' tumour, paediatric sarcoma and other types of cancer. They also treat male genital diseases, impotence, and infertility. In addition, they deal with paediatric urological conditions, such as bladder emptying defects, urethral restoration, and urinary tract cancers.
