Overview
Ahmed Fathy is consultant in Urology at Cairo University Hospitals, with a master's degree in Urology. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and the European Association of Urology. Urologists diagnose and treat diseases of the urinary tract in both men and women. This includes kidney cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, penile cancer, ureteral and pelvic cancer, retroperitoneal and pelvic cavity sarcomas, Wilms' tumour, paediatric sarcoma and other types of cancer. They also treat male genital diseases, impotence, and infertility. In addition, they deal with paediatric urological conditions, such as bladder emptying defects, urethral restoration, and urinary tract cancers.
