Overview
Alaa El Deen Ismael is a specialist of general surgery at the Liver Research Unit and the Stem Cell Research Division at the Faculty of Medicine, at Ain Shams University. He is a member of the American Society of Surgeon. General surgery is a surgical field that deals with abdominal contents including esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, appendix and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland.
