Overview
Emad Abdallah is a consultant of nasal sinus surgery and microscopic ear surgery, a member of the Egyptian Society of Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery, and a member of the European Society of Ear, Nose, and Throat. Otorhinolaryngology is a medical specialty that is concerned with the surgical and medical supervision of head and neck conditions, namely in the ear, nose, and throat regions. Otorhinolaryngologists deal with a wide range of procedures, such as tonsillectomy (removal of tonsils), adenoidectomy (removal of adenoids), septoplasty (correction of nasal septum to prevent obstruction and enable clear breathing), and tracheostomy (a surgical procedure in which an incision is made into the trachea, through the neck, and a tube inserted so as to make an artificial opening in order to assist breathing), among other procedures.
