Overview
Hassan Hegazy is a professor of Ophthalmology and Retinal Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Al-Azhar University. Moreover, he is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmologists and a consultant in retina and laser therapy. Ophthalmology is a medical field concerned with eye surgeries and medical diagnosis of eye diseases. Ophthalmologists are physicians trained to treat all eye disorders by prescribing medicine, performing surgeries, and adjusting eyeglasses and lenses to improve the patient’s vision. Ophthalmologists are authorized to correct a wide range of eye diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and corneal conditions.
