Overview
Nada Kamal is a lecturer and a consultant in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, at Al-Kasr Eleiny Hospital. A gynaecologist is a physician who deals with women's reproductive well-being as well as general women’s health issues. Gynaecologists conduct surgical procedures after miscarriages, treat abnormal bleedings, gynaecological cancers, and other problems, such as endometriosis. Obstetricians specialize in the treatment of women during pre-conception, pregnancy, childbirth, and right after the baby is born. They employ instruments to back the baby’s delivery, including forceps. An ob-gyn is qualified to handle both specialties. Ob-gyns specialize in a plethora of issues, such as obstetrics, or pregnancy and childbirth, menstruation and fertility issues, sexually transmitted infections, hormone disorders, and others.
