First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)

Previously known as National Bank of Abu Dhabi, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is one of Abu Dhabi's first banks, as it was established by UAE's government in 1968. FAB has become a leading bank in United Arab Emirates in terms of assets, deposits, and network of branches. In 2011, the bank was ranked by Global Finance as the 46th bank among the world’s safest banks. In 2017, National Bank of Abu Dhabi officially united with First Gulf Bank after a group of negotiations under the name ‘First Abu Dhabi Bank’ took place, resulting of a new partnership and a merge of economy.
