Overview
Mohamed Amer is a general practitioner and a professor of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Al Azhar University. He is head of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department at the Faculty of Medicine at Al Azhar University. General practitioners are physicians and family doctors who treat chronic diseases and offer preventive care and health awareness to patients. They refer patients to hospitals and other medical services for urgent and specialized treatment. General practitioners are also known as family doctors who can be your first contact point when you feel sick or suffer from small injuries.
