Overview

Mohamed Nagy pioneered the modern Egyptian photography art upon his arrival from Florence, Italy. Also, he is one of the country's most renowned painters. He founded the place in 1952 to be his studio. Four years later, he passed away. Afterward, in 1962, the Ministry of Culture purchased the establishment and transformed it into a museum, which comprises his masterpiece Egyptian Renaissance.
