Overview
Mosque-Madrassa of Hassan El-Suwaidi, established in 1430 by Badr El Deen Hassan ibn Suwaid, the mosque has a high rise main door all covered with fabulous Muqarnas, and next to it the Al-Sabeel hall, which has a marble floor. The mosque is located in one of Cairo's most historic sites and one of the few remaining monuments of this era.
