Overview
Siwa was the most isolated among all of Egypt's oasis ,lying some 20 meters below sea level. It is one of the most fascinating areas in Egypt ; housing a unique culture and a rich history including a visit from Alexander the Great to the Temple of the Oracle dating from the 6th century BC.
