Overview
Probably the oldest in Old Cairo, this church has a typical early Christian layout (12 columns for the twelve apostles), but its history is its most inviting aspect. It is here that the holy family hid out during their escape from Herod. Although it has not been restored since the 12th century, it is still in fine condition. See translation
