Overview
The most famous of Egypt’s monuments and the last remaining wonder of the ancient world, the three large pyramids belonged to the Pharaohs of the Old Kingdom: Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. The largest pyramid is Cheops and stands almost 140m high. You can’t miss the magnificent Sphinx and adjoining temple as well as the Solar Boat Museum, at the foot of Cheops.
